Well it's been a long day. I'm tired, sore and yes a little angry. However I'd like to look at the positives from today. Our great university was showcased on national television. At Bret's tailgate a certain person named Georges Niang stopped thru and I got a photo with the greatest cyclone of all time. I ran into KC and Lew who introduced me to VeloClone. And I got to take in the CyHawk game from the South endzone courtesy of cyclonespiker.

I got a story that goes with Niang coming by Bret's tailgate but I will save that for tomorrow.
My boss knows George from being buddies with Cornell Mann. His wife saw George last year and asked if he remembered her. He asked her to take her sunglasses off, looked in her eyes and said, "You're (my boss's) wife. I never forget a woman's eyes."

Well, Mrs JCyclonee was diagnosed with cancer this week. I don't know if it's right to say "it's just melanoma" but that's kind of the way we have to look at it. Surgery on Wednesday. The doctor believes everything will be OK. In conclusion, ****cancer!

Thanks for listening, enjoy the game tomorrow, and say a little prayer.

Just now saw this, buddy. I beat cancer years ago (bladder) and have had a few small recurrences that were handled with minor cystoscopic surgery. Try your best to keep her positive - the right mindset is so very important. We will all be praying for a complete victory for Mrs. J!!!!

Want hairy enough for me??? Huh???
Wouldn't be me anyway...we park in paved lots. I won't do G7 again. Had that lot for two years, was only able to park in them for about 50% of the games due to rain/snow.

BTW...can't remember. Are you in our section (W)?
We were in "W" row 14. Of course, no one had dressed for the weather and my daughter was frosting up, so Wifey-poo says, "40 minute delay?? We're leaving!"

Oh yeah. Rode out the heavy rain under the awning at the entrance to the Jacobson building. Watched some guys, and I'm sure they were fairly liquored up, slide on their bellies down the northwest hillside. And! Saw a gentleman in a wheelchair crash into the fence coming down that steep walkway right at the end of that second rain! Ack! People immediately ran over to help. He appeared to be okay...I don't think an ambulance was called. That was scary.

I promised the Georges story yesterday, but after a long day Saturday where I was mostly standing, yesterday I had to work and we were busy and I wasn't in a good place to post last night.

So Georges comes by Bret's and visits and he needed to use the facilities so Bret offered their family's RV for him to use. In the RV at the time were 2 kids of one of Bret's friends and one his friend's wife who was asleep. So as he went in everyone in the tailgate told Georges to go in and wake her up. I wasn't in the RV at the time to see the reaction but from those in at that time it was a priceless reaction. :D

As in, "Oh, be still my beating heart! I've died and gone to heaven. Georges is here and my hubby is nowhere to be seen!"

Thought of this just know, was at a parade a month or so ago and one lady was asking for signatures from people for her son to run for some state legislative seat. I have no idea who he was but have always thought if someone wants to stick their neck out, let them run. Competition holds people accountable.

Do any of you refuse to sign the registers to allow people’s names on a ballot? If so, what is your reasoning? Had a couple people around me refuse to sign and they both had different reasons.

I tell them I am outraged.

I tend to ask for their positions before signing. I won't sign for someone if I know of them and their stances and heartily disagree with them. For example, if Jacob Wohl asked for signatures? OHELLNO.

Thanks for turning me on to Jacob Wohl. He's not boring.
