Random Thoughts the 13th: Jason Takes RTT

So, DMACC never did answer my e-mail response about pay for this fall course, so I never confirmed my involvement. Waiting to see if they bother figuring that out.

And there's some fall assessment thing that I don't bother to read yet. I know this because the person in charge of that sent it out yesterday. Then they sent the corrected version, because the first was apparently not the right one. Today's note says that it was brought to their attention that the second was also not the correct one or something.

Is it really that hard for people to do their jobs?

You know your hubby is (ahem) whipped (but not by you) when you realize he has brought up a straight back wooden chair from the dining room to use at his computer because two cats are sound asleep on his office chair. :D
Am I thinking what you didn't say? ;)

Well, Mrs JCyclonee was diagnosed with cancer this week. I don't know if it's right to say "it's just melanoma" but that's kind of the way we have to look at it. Surgery on Wednesday. The doctor believes everything will be OK. In conclusion, ****cancer!

Thanks for listening, enjoy the game tomorrow, and say a little prayer.

I'm so sorry - that is scary and not fun. Good that the doctor is optimistic and surgery is soon. A very redhead former coworker had a spot on her arm - believe it was melanoma - probably 8/10 years ago and I know they took a good chunk of skin to be darn sure but she's totally fine now. Just puts lots of reminders on FB to wear sunscreen.

Thanks. It sounds like everything should be OK. It is a scary word, though.

Here’s what we found and had our picture taken with.
Fxxxxxthis “file size too large “ Sigh. Sorry. It said “Grandparents, don’t let your grandkids grow up to be Hawkeyes.” We’re sending this to SIL and DD just so we know she sees it.

Is it raining in Ames yet? Radar looks like it is going to get wet.

Off to take a ride over to Backbone State Park and debate what hawk nest I watch the game in later.
