You want to get five stars into the program? Gotta get them to the NBA, period. That's how it works.

Did I miss something where ISU has gotten a bunch of 5 stars to this point?

Here's a question and I'm not arguing.

Does ISU need 5 stars to be successful? Have they in the past needed 5 stars to be successful?

Unless there's a legit strong foundation set, getting players that have one foot out the door while they're in Ames isn't very sustainable, which is what we're possibly going to witness this next season unless CSP has one heck of a plan or figures out a way to utilize players differently.

The idea that the lineup or rotations were grossly mismanaged this season somehow is laughable. Trying to have three volume wings out there at once would have been a bad idea, and Prohm made the smart decision of going with Shayok and one of Wigginton or Horton-Tucker, riding the hot hand on any given night. We lost because of flaws in the roster, the defensive slump/loss of team cohesiveness in February, and the simple randomness that can happen in college basketball, not because the wrong guys were on the court to any significant degree.

This x100. I think everyone can agree we played poorly when the ball tended to stick in players hands rather than solid ball movement, right?

Having Shayok, THT, and Wiggington on the court at the same time - not idea for ball movement.

I definitely see why Wiggington would be frustrated and leave. But I also see the opportunity for him to be the primary scorer next year. But looks like that won't happen.

A kid wrote it so it makes sense you agree.

According to this "kids" bio he is most likely a Senior at Iowa State, so I would put him around 21 or 22 years old. I suppose you think just because you are 26 that you think you are so much smarter than everyone right?

You think the kid called his buddies to make sure they thought he was right?

This article was written while Aaron and his friends were enjoying Miller Lite and wings at B-Dubs. Jeremy might have been in attendance.

As we get older most of us gain perspective and our thought process is different than when we were in college. Yours hasn't changed, but for most of us it does.

My god the same 4 of you guys who worship Prohm are triggered by this article and the subsequent support for it. Go look at the first 2 posts in this thread, you guys are in the extreme minority and its not even close.

I don't worship Prohm and to say people who support Prohm are in the extreme minority is dumb even for you

You would be one of the first ones to be benched for not making smart decisions.
I thought all that mattered was that the most-talented players would play all the time?! What's this stuff about smart decisions?!

Watch out, you may have boxed yourself in...
