"The windiest weather tends to occur in the Plains, while the least windy weather occurs in the Southeast. The top 5 windiest states are: Nebraska (1), Kansas (2), South Dakota (3), North Dakota (4), and Iowa (5). The top 5 least windy states are: Mississipi (1), Florida (2), Kentucky (3), Georgia (4),and Alabama (5)"

A friend of mine wanted to watch it with his 12 year old son. I said if it's about Motley Crue it's most likely going to be a lot of sex and drugs.
He watched it in advance and decided it wasn't a good idea to let a 12 year old watch it.

Yeah, IIRC, one of the first scenes was a topless woman with a quick camera slide sideways to show Vince going to town behind. At that point you know this is probably not something you will feel comfortable watching with your 12 year old son.

I think Nikki Sixx was declared legally dead twice from drug overdoses. Did they talk about the big (proposed) fight between Vince Neil and Axl Rose? Those two simps couldn't slap their way out of a wet paper bag.

David Lee Roth is about the main one they show, no GnR from what I remember.

Little trivia. Aerosmith's Dude Looks like a Lady was written about Tyler, Vince Neil, and one other guy being bombed at a bar and Tyler looks and Neil and says, Dude looks like a lady.

The running joke in my family is that every year when we get together, dad will say some variety of "You never know what will happen. This could be the last year we all get together." I think I've been hearing it for 15+ years now

My parents are 84 and 85. I know they won't live forever, but they aren't going down without a fight. As far as the result of my sibs and their kids, we have a great time together. Regardless of my dad's unnecessary guilt trip , we make it a point to set up a time every year to get together and look forward to it.

Very much agreed on the siblings being gifts.
My siblings and I range in age from 49-61 (six of us, 3 boys, 3 girls). We always have a great time together at my parents place. It's nice when you can all get along, and your parents are actually your good friends.

On the rare occasion when I write a post that gets a bunch of "agrees", a part of me wants to go back in and edit it to show something ridiculous. That way, other people people wonder what is going on and ponder why so many people agreed with me.

You could say like this message if you don’t want me to send you dikpiks. And then delete don’t after a little bit.

I did notice the mild winds when we were in FL last week. It was a refreshing change.

Any other male getting an ad with a blonde woman with a clippers wanting to manscape you? I thought it was some dating ad at first but read it finally.

Hour and a half to do my taxes this year. It feels like it’s getting longer and longer. Used to take me like 15 minutes. State of Virginia has some kind of dumb laws/rules.

Actually got a refund in Fed, MN and VA, which was a pleasant surprise. Not getting rich by any stretch of the imagination, but better than owing, which is what I was worried about with the tax law changes.

Tax laws are better for people without kids. Parents get a worse situation.

I need to break down and do mine still.
It should take about an hour and maybe 50 f bombs

Winds gusting to 32 mph in a little commercial of what summer is likely to be like on any day I elect to go biking.

I should probably try and find the "stillest" locale in the country and just move there.

The least windy place has got to be western Georgia through like Arkansas. Not sure you'd wanna be living in any of those places

Finally did mine over the weekend. Owe about $450 each so have not hit send yet but will this week with eFile Express, $7 each to file. Cheap and easy if you know your forms, it doesn't walk you through stuff but it's way good enough for me with only a Schedule A and B to go with the 1040. Couldn't get a real good direct compare to last years rates and loss of personal exemption because I had a one time extra income I had to claim last year. Seems to be a push for me though and it appears the lost exemption $$ were made up for by a moderately lower tax rate. LOL at simpler though, I had to add a form (Schedule 1) to take the place of a single line they eliminated from the 1040 so they could brag about the 1040 being shorter. JFC, what a sham.

A few random thoughts going back the intent of all these.

I ordered a soup 1 hour and 27 min ago at a place in Bermuda. Think they forgot to put it in?

I really enjoy riding around on a moped a lot. If Dallas was a more non highway city then I would consider getting one since I do mainly really short trips and a car is barely worth it for my lifestyle. Spent a couple hours just riding around after work to take in the beauty. It was awesome.

How much do you guys spend at a bachelor/bachelorette minus getting to the location? Assume in your estimate that you have to get lodging as well I guess. Also this is in New Orleans to set your mind right. I'm just shocked how cheap a few of these guys are. We voted on an AirBnB for example and they chose one that was 5ish miles from the French Quarter to save $13/person vs getting a place ON Bourbon street. That's not even per night, that's total. I'm just like what the **** guys. An Uber will pretty much wipe that out and then some. The current discussion is a $30 vs a $90 expense for an activity.

I'm probably gonna end up moving to Chicago in the next 12 months. A good bit of my friends live there and my real good friend just got a new job there and asked if I could room with him. My job is real flexible so it's probably gonna happen. Helps that most of my friends have kinda suddenly left Dallas the last 9 months.

My next major project is gonna be in DC once I'm done in San Diego. I enjoy DC a lot so it should be a good time
