I think he’s a real glue and toughness guy. I think Jacobsen is a toughness guy. The rest are fragile or learning what toughness is after going through the league.

SY also has a steadiness with how he operates and actually can be underrated offensively which could have helped.

Hate to bring it up (surprised it wasn't already) but for SY to be effective, CSP would need to recognize his need and utilize it, and imo that's not one of CSP's strengths.

Solomon might have started every game this season (if he were healthy). He had and had earned a starting spot. Jacobson has been good, but I do not think he would have been the categorically better player it takes for Prohm to alter the starting lineup.

Jacobson would have had to about been a revelation to take away a junior's incumbent's spot, who had started the previous 1.5 years, and started an NCAA tournament game. Solo is definitely one of those grinder, locker room guys, which Prohm likes to reward.

If he was healthy, I imagine we would have saw plenty of him this season, and particularly once we hit the Big 12 when strength, size, and experience counts for more.

Athleticism; yes he is top 5. He's still really raw though, and inconsistent with his effort. He also doesn't create for himself very much unless he has his back to the basket. If he fixes those little things and develops a decent 15 footer he will be Pro material.

They seem to have no interest in getting Lard the ball on the block. I think I could count on one hand the times he’s had that opportunity all year.
