Morning Rush

I can't remember the details on it went down. Not a MR listener, but I did hear about it.
I remember listening to Murph & Andy, and Andy was walking on eggshells trying to explain what happened, while not saying too much.
The morning rush is fine. I always prefer local over national. Its not fantastic but it works from 6-8.
Again, I don't see anyone singing its praises but what are better alternatives? It is a bit odd that no one that says they never listen seem to be able to provide any enticing alternatives.
You get to hear local sports. Sounds like Monday Chris Connolly from Iowa Events Ctr will be on which is always interesting to get heads up on what is coming to WF arena....he'll also be talking about upcoming NCAA tourney.
Beer with Bruno can be an interesting listen.
Yeah, if I had zero interest in local sports or central Iowa current events in general, I would not listen. That isn't the case for most of us so I"m not sure why this is so "stunning".

I just choose not to listen to local radio in the morning. I do on the way home from work, and when I work out over lunch. I purposefully changed my hours to come in at 8:30 so I could listen to the DP show at 8. The times I have listened to the Morning Rush, there has been very little sports talk. I get that in the Summer during slow times, but during college football or college basketball season, there is plenty to talk about. Instead I hear Travis making some boob jokes, some kid's dates, and Heather trying to somehow keep the train from going completely off the rails. It's just not my thing. Clearly some people like it; to each their own I guess.
Ya I don’t like how they think they are clever at the opening there is like an obvious big topic, big game the night before for Iowa or ISU and they start the show and they build up for like 5 minutes and then it’s something like, “and that brings us to what somebody guy said on Twitter about NFL free agency. Don’t worry folks we’ll get to what you want to hear about...”

I used to religiously listen to Travis and Tim because it was so bad. Say what you want about Travis but just look at the ****** on the right and imagine him saying anything worthwhile.
I remember being so excited for a new show on KXNO mornings and immediately thinking WTF when I heard that dumpster fire. Tim should be stored away in a deep dark corner and not allowed to talk to anyone. Whatever he's doing now, I hope it doesn't involve talking to people. I decided to give it a chance for awhile because sometimes it takes time for radio shows to find their groove. This one was doomed from the start.
The only sports that ******* watches is “Morning Drive” on the golf channel
This made me laugh more than I probably should have.
Anyone that listens knows Crow Tow is a fairly prominent sponsor. Sean is constantly trying to do a terrible crow "caw".

I've never dealt with them, but I've heard bad experiences from friends who live in DSM proper.
Hopefully this means the end of that annoying "caw"
