Does anyone but me wonder why in the hell the Kardashians and Jenners get all the pubby? I can't figure out what their talent is, other than parading around naked or nearly naked all the time. And this is worth the exposure they get? (Sorry, not trying to be ironic there)

I have no idea. When it comes to Yahoo it's all about page clicks and they generate lots of those.

I have a training all week in my home office. This will be the first time EVER that I've gone in for an entire week. Made it 3 years and 8 months or 1,337 days without needing to do that.

Also I am not excited about dealing with DFW traffic all week.

They get paid up to $250k per instagram post. I imagine Paris Hilton could've done that in her heyday. It's all cyclical

My 3-year old's new obsession is the solar system. Knows all the planet names, their order from the sun, all 5 of the dwarf planets, most of the major moons, and a few facts about each one. Plays with some planet sets my wife bought him, and watches planet videos and songs. Took him to the Ft. Worth Museum's Planetarium last weekend and he's already asking to go back again.

This is what I have to listen to all day long:

That second song is kind of catchy.

So I received an email from "Netflix" that included the following sentence.

If you don't update your information within 72 hours we'll limit what you can do with your account.

Seems legit. I better click the link.

I am so happy that I am part of a small office that is about a block and a half away from the break room. We have our own little kitchenette and everyone is pretty responsible about keeping it clean, nice and tidy. Our microwave is pretty much as clean as mine at home since everyone actually cleans up after themselves.

Mrs. Velo's work on the other hand is a huge mess. She won't take any leftovers that need to be reheated because she refuses to touch their microwave which before you use it you would probably have to run for a couple of minutes to kill anything living inside of it.
Doesn't Mrs. Velo work from home?

Daughters team didn’t win but she can say she has scored the last basket in girls basketball in Iowa until next November.

BC watched the 2nd half of the game on IPTV, it was a pretty darn entertaining game if you didn't check the score. Both teams were running the court well, but when your down by 20 that's not going to get you back in it. I was talking to a guy and he said most of your team is coming back while NF graduated most of theirs.

While getting ready for work this morning, my 3 year old walks into the bathroom to tell me the following tidbit.

Eli: "Papa! Do you know that all the dwarf planets are in the Kuiper Belt?"
Me: "Yes, all of them except Ceres, which is in the Asteroid belt."

I did my research in advance this time! Boom!

It's a hard job staying ahead of those 3 year olds.

Does Eli know why Pluto is no longer considered a planet? (It used to be.)

Most is an understatement. It is actually all. No seniors on the team, they were basically ran off by/for the junior class. A lot of drama involved with this group. The main 5 routinely tells the others that they can do everything on their own and they don't need the reserves. The parents actually get in on the drama also.

You want helicopter parents? the main 5s parents found what hotel the girls stayed in and booked the same hotel. They also reserved meals for the team, but gave enough space so they could, and did, eat with them. Didn't let the girls be by themselves at any time, and kinda made themselves a distraction for the team. Then to make themselves feel like they included everyone, they would notify every other parent hours before the meal or so late that everyone would already have made plans. Besides, most of the rest of the parents believe this is an experience about he girls and not about the parents.

I could go on about the hilarious parts of what these parents did, but I will save that. DM me if you want a good laugh about many of the other things.

BTW, we will be bumping up a class next year.

That one I do know, but had a hard time explaining it to him. The dwarf planets were new to me, though. When he started talking about Ceres (I knew that one from when it was just considered the largest asteroid), Eris, Haumea, Makemake (I thought he was making up those three), and Pluto I just had to look up some info on these.

Heck, if they gave me $250K for every naked picture on Instagram, I'd break the bank!

I wouldn't go crazy, one or two posts a month would be enough income for me. Gotta leave them wanting more or you'll become yesterday's news.

I will give you a dad assist here. On the tough ones tell him, I love your curiosity, but I don't want to hog all the fun of learning with you by myself. Why don't you ask your mom that question so she can join in.

I think my wife uses a similar line to direct the kids towards me. I know she just says "Ask Dad" if the questions are anything related to comic books, Star Wars or health/medical topics.
