Can tell I havent flossed my teeth for a while. Had something stuck between two so I just flossed all the teeth while at it. Gums are a little achy, that is usually a sign that I have skipped it too long.

someone didn't measure twice and order once.....

This comment made me think of a child book we have called Daddy and Me that drives me crazy. The kid is helping the dad make a doghouse and they say "first we saw the wood" and the next page they measure the wood. I refuse to read it anymore because it teaches horrible habits in woodworking.

There have been a parade of people going in there with a variety of malicious looking implements of destruction. Meanwhile, the owner poked his head around the corner with his arms crossed, looked at the kitchen, looked at me, gave me a

There has been a trend of late with people I've had to deal with with this side gig. If there are dogs present, we ask that they are placed so they can't get to us, outside if we are inside and vice versa, in a room with a shut door or such. The men will take there dogs and do as we ask immediately. For some reason the women always tell us that they can just hold these dogs. One time the dog was a rottweiler, yesterday it was a great dane. It has happened several other times but these are a couple on the extreme side where nobody will be able to hold these dogs back for the 30-45 minutes that we will need to be around them. I'm not taking any one on their word they can hold a dog that they can't pick and hold the whole time.

Read it backwards.

@GTO you still bach'ing it here and there with your wife "going to school" out in Vegas still? Been a while since an update on that. Going well?

They are upgrading our kitchen area at work. We are getting a new dishwasher, sink/faucets, countertops, microwave and fridge.

The fridge is currently sitting in the middle of the office. It seems like side-by-side is larger than the old fridge and doesn't fit. LOL

The drama right now is fantastic.
When they remodeled ours years ago they added a stove & oven. Having an oven at work is great.

I am in a training program at work to be a Solution Architect which requires some pre-sales work. So you do the work an Architect would do with a real Architect overseeing it, very similar to how Professional Engineer training works.

Anyway, I made my first sale today . Not a huge sale but I broke the seal.

When our toaster oven went belly up at the office a few of us chipped in and got a new one, but this one is also a convection oven and it has a rounded back so you can actually fit those small frozen pizzas in it (e.g. Jack's, etc.). Leftovers reheated in a microwave = sustenance; leftovers reheated in this thing = real food.

Best $12 I ever spent.

I had a decent toaster at home and, when my wife's mother passed, we ended up getting hers. Since hers was a bit nicer, we kept my MIL's and I ended up bringing my "old" toaster to work. My toaster was a huge upgrade over the bargain basement piece o crap that we had.

About 2 weeks later, I went to use the toaster and discovered someone had swiped the toaster I brought in and replaced it with their own crappy toaster.

Who does that?

It's incredible what people will do at work. One time someone swiped a woman's half eaten sandwich from the fridge.

Speaking of the work break room. Our hot/cold water dispenser broke a few days ago. They just replaced it with a newer model. They are also currently pulling out the soda machines and replacing them. I think we are supposed to get a new coffee machine as well.

I am so happy that I am part of a small office that is about a block and a half away from the break room. We have our own little kitchenette and everyone is pretty responsible about keeping it clean, nice and tidy. Our microwave is pretty much as clean as mine at home since everyone actually cleans up after themselves.

Mrs. Velo's work on the other hand is a huge mess. She won't take any leftovers that need to be reheated because she refuses to touch their microwave which before you use it you would probably have to run for a couple of minutes to kill anything living inside of it.
