Welp....at this stage of the game, two of my kids' second babies were on the way...

they be cray cray and must have had kids sleeping through the night. Last night he was up twice between 11-6 and that was a great night. Well, for me at least. DH burped him after he woke at 4 and apparently he didn't go back to sleep until 5. Woof. I didn't even notice that DH had just come back to bed when I got up at 5:30 to workout.
The night before was every two hour wakeups.

Yeah - a little close for both of them. My two were 19 months apart, and the one I lost was 13 months after the second one (BC failure). I could have been doing 3 sizes of diaper folding at the same time...yikes!!!

19 months oh lawd, it'll be a while for us if we go down that road. My Dr would not be real thrilled if I came to little man's nine month appt saying we've got another monkey on board.

@GTO you still bach'ing it here and there with your wife "going to school" out in Vegas still? Been a while since an update on that. Going well?
So far, so good but school does consume a TON of her time. Well, between that and her work. Her next trip is a conference in San Diego next month and I'll be tagging along with the kids for a couple of days. I think she goes back to Vegas in the fall, I believe.

My 3-year old's new obsession is the solar system. Knows all the planet names, their order from the sun, all 5 of the dwarf planets, most of the major moons, and a few facts about each one. Plays with some planet sets my wife bought him, and watches planet videos and songs. Took him to the Ft. Worth Museum's Planetarium last weekend and he's already asking to go back again.

This is what I have to listen to all day long:

Your 3 year old?? Hell, I don’t even know all that.

@SaraV working the Girls HS BB tourney this week?

Nope. 1) No area schools are in, 2) End of the month duties at "real job". But, did get to go to the 5A game last night. Didn't feel like the refs were the best.

this Hy-Vee commercial.........IDK on that music choice. It's just so dramatic for........grocery shopping.

Speaking of real job...guy showing a pineapple to a customer, and then the carrots at the end is our produce manager. And yes, dramatic indeed. PRODUCE IS SERIOUS STUFF!

I was browsing the ESPN gamecasts for some of the games being played today, and came across this gem on the Rutgers/Iowa page:

Paul Pettit

Ok if your going suspend McCaffrey you need to fire all the officials in that game permanently the officiating in that game was horrible
Fran is a easy going coach if he gets pissed off there is always a good reason

Oh yes, when I think of mad fran, I think easy-going.

And Wisconsin is currently losing to Penn State, woof.

And Lawman, you definitely weren't wrong about the bad free throw shooting. I just feel terrible for Happ. Because the rumor up here is he does really well with them in practice but just can't do it in games. And his stats kind of back that up considering he is shooting about 20% worse now than he was his freshman year

Have you ever been to the UP of Michigan? Pasties (pronounced past-eez, not paste-eez) are a big thing up there.....I believe it's an Eastern European thing. Meat, veggies, cheese, are all baked into a pastry crust, kind of like a pie.

But you drive around the towns in the UP and there are signs everywhere saying "Pasties for Sale." The first time I saw this, I thought, "This must be where all the strippers live."

They're really big in England as well. That's where I've seen them. They're pretty good. Even the mushed peas and meat one was good

ok, bed time. Well, for 45 minutes or so until silly boy decides to wake up. Ohhhhhhhh my silly boy.

That video was incredible. It needs to be on reddit somewhere

Anybody own a Buck Lucerne? My Camry is approaching 200k miles; I know it will still run for a while but I'd like to be able to get a couple grand out of it still. I'm thinking of getting an old man car and like the Lucerne.

Congrats to @VikesFan22 high school alma mater Center Point Urbana, Four straight trips to state and they bring home the title tonight. Previous 3 trips ended in semifinal losses. They played North Polk a conf. opp of Nevada's and they ended our string of state trips last year so was happy to see them go down.

3 schools from an area of about 15 miles from each other sent a boys or girls team to state. North Linn (both), Alburnett and CPU.
