What a great effort in the second half by these guys. Great defensive effort and shot selection was improved over the last couple games at Hilton. Good win for Steve and his staff. Get another on Saturday at Texas

Everyone will point to the 3 pointers we made winning the game, but holding them to 61 was the reason we won.

No doubt, and that’s exactly what we do when we’re playing well. Not many teams are going to keep us in the low 60’s, so playing that way on the other end makes a win very, very likely.

The defense is what I had a major issue with during the first half. I was hoping for a good defensive performance in the 2nd half & that's what we got! Why we couldn't get this type of performance the previous two games is truly head-scratching. I still can't figure this team out - can we break through and go on a long winning streak? I certainly hope so!!

They were both big factors.
We tend to let our shot-making impact other parts of our game imo, and tonight we were on.

Jacobson really competed. Shayok had a great game, maybe his all-around best. Babb his steady self. Non-conference Haliburton appeared in the 2nd half. I thought OU did a decent job on defense. We had to work for it on offense, but we were patient.

Nice bounce back game by Shayok. And some of the moves around the basket by THT are just incredible. Surprised Wiggy only took four shots in this one.

I don't think people realize how big that actually is (Wigginton)

@Baylor he was 3-8 and 2-5 from three - Loss
KSU he was 2 for 8 and 1-3 from three an 1-4 from the line - Loss
@KU he was 1 for 8 and 1-5 from three and 0-2 from the line - Loss
TCU he was 2 for 9 and 2-5 from three - Loss
Baylor he was 2 for 9 and 1-6 from three - Loss
at TCU he was 6 for 14 but 1-5 from three - Loss

Basically when he's off and still shooting, that spells trouble for us. 16 for 57 (28% from the field) and 8 for 29 from three (27%) in our league losses.

Good bounce back win.

Was encouraged to see us respond after the timeout Prohm called down 14-7 early.

Outstanding second half. Adjusted to shut down their perimeter offense, fought for rebounds on both ends, stole the ball like we used to, and made shots. Back on the right track, and a lot to build on from tonight
