Frankly after these three home losses, especially the last two I’m thinking the computers and ourselves are overrating this team.

At the end of the day you are what your record says you are.

19-7 is pretty damn good. Could be better, absolutely, but we're still one of the top 25 teams in the country without question.

The relative ranking of this team is a compilation of those days, with a net result of top 15-25ish. If you had asked anyone at the beginning of the season if that was acceptable, anyone with a brain would have said hell yes.

And yet if you look at the ability/potential of the team now, you’d be disappointed in the results (ahem).

You’ll be hard pressed to find another team let alone ranked team that has three home losses as double digit favorites.

Yeah, I was expecting them to get back to the tournament and maybe be 4-5th in the league. The highs of this team though got expectations higher than that especially with this year being the best year to dethrone KU.

Heck, find a team with two of them.

In the end, teams are always remembered for what they do in the NCAA tournament. I'm still really optimistic about that, because this team can beat anyone when they have a sense of urgency (and yes, just like every other team in the tournament, they can lose to anyone too).

As double digit favorites?

I have no clue, just knew they had two home losses off the top of my head. I'm guessing there are other ranked teams that have two as well. I'm not defending our home court performance this season, there's no way to sugar coat it

The double digit favorite aspect is rather key to the point I am 'hinting' at.

We actually only have one double digit loss though but Kansas State was -8 and TCU was -9.5 so your point is still valid on losing games as heavy favorites
