Doke done for season

That sucks. Doke is fun to watch. Strange that he tore the exact same ligament in his other hand in his first year. Doesn't seem like that is a common injury.

I don't trust the rest of the Big 12, always shitting their pants when they play Adidas University. ISU needs to win out at Hilton and scratch/claw on the road to bring in W's. ISU needs to worry about themselves.

Hopefully KU trips up more from time to time this year, but I doubt it. It will be close come March.

I think we need to win at least 5 road games in the conference and then we will be playing Texas Tech at home the last game of the season for the Big 12 title and a 9-0 conference mark at home!

Baylor needs to be one of those 5 road wins. We got five road wins two years ago,and our defense is much better this year which is what you need to win on the road.

KBoo fans last week:
“We’re better without Doke”

KBoo fans in March:
“We would have won the conference with Doke.”

Most years KU would have Silvio and still win. Now that cheating is tougher, the streak is in jeopardy

Was that a real thing?

I would only add defense and rebounding. Steals are great, but we have to finish the half court break with rebounds when we don't get the steal.

KU's offensive rebounding rate was something like 35%. I know Iowa had around the same.

Interesting twist - potentially - coming from Lawrence: KU is considering burning the redshirt year for their 6-5 freshman stud. He's not a carbon copy of Doke but maybe could help to change to a different style of play?

Not sure KU fans would concur with your characterization of him as a stud. Apprently didn't even start on his AAU team.

Yeah, only going on Fran's quote. Can he shoot? They NEED that at KU right now.

From what i gathered perusing KU boards he put up 15 pts per game during exhibition play. He shot like 30%ish in prep from 3 I think is what they were saying on phognet.

Most their comments seemed to suggest this was a bit of a hail mary to try to solve a situation without any great options for how to get it done.

Yeah, if he was such a stud, why would they have redshirted him in the first place?

I smell the sweet pungent odor of desperation from Self to try to save that bogus streak.

Payday! Probably no Adidas money if he doesn't play. It's pay to play not pay to sit around redshirting!
