Random Thoughts XII - This Thread Delivers

The December has been a personal health total **** storm. Bad enough that I had to sit through a two hour IV drug infusion last week and again next week but the nurse doing a simple blood draw at my physical Thursday hit a nerve in my arm. JFC. Got tingling fingers and intermittent sharp shooting pains if I move my arm out too much. Icing it down after followup appointment today where I let them know how pissed off I am. Hoping it settles down and isn't permanent damage (not unheard off). Off to ice it down again. Yeah, super pissed. :mad::mad:

update, user error on the time off thing. Got a report showing everything taken and earned.......my last two days of work before coming back full time and not having to enter work hours anymore.......I entered them as time off instead of days worked. It's still weird though because my side shows they stopped accruing my time off for about six weeks but on my boss's side, it shows it continuing.

Oh, wow! Hope it heals itself soon. Don’t want to go through Boxster withdrawal cold turkey.

Gave the older folks in our family a shot for Thanksgiving and a little bit earlier than that.
Week of fatigue, rashes, and all the nice snot and breathing problems that come with our allergy outbreaks.

Thankfully, though, they still aren't working on this easily preventable problem and spend some time looking for outlandish alternatives, like excessive chocolate milk intake or poor hygiene habits on my part.

I guess they can win the gift of exile for Christmas.

Mail lady just drove by without bringing me my package...

Edit: Another carrier just dropped it off. She had to be at least 60 years old, and it was a heavy package and she looked like she was struggling with it so I went out to get it from her. So they have the older people delivering packages and the younger ones handling the regular, lightweight mail.

I had some of Z's gifts delivered to work. At 3 I was like, where is UPS? Amazon had it part shipped regular mail. Thankfully no one took it from the floor of the entryway to the building.:eek:

Checkout lady at Target last week was probably 75+. I had two boxes of Tide and she told me "next time when you have heavy stuff, just put one on the belt and save your muscles." That's not really how it works but ok. It's an 8lb box. And I was literally on my way to the gym. I definitely grabbed them to put in my cart though so she didn't have to.


Ooooh, a pregnant lady....I don't know her. That makes two going around right now.
