You may very well be right, but see 2014 (looking at it right now).

Lost to a marginal team, beat two ranked teams all season including an incredibly overrated WI in the B1G championship. Needed OT to beat a marginal Penn State. They were #6 heading into Championship week so that's different, but they were #13 to start November.

It will be interesting.
