Wigginton news (until he is back) thread

I was guessing lisfranc injury initially when heard foot strain. There are varying degrees and some involve fractures and some may not. There can be multiple joints involved and if that’s the case it can be a difficult rehab.

Did anyone see him get his foot stepped on? Feel like it would be pretty hard to get a lisfranc without something coming down on top of the foot.

Uh, I did last night, bro, where were you?

I saw it online in a few places last night so if you posted it, I probably read it. (Watching the game, so I'm not going to go back and look now.)

Maybe a better way for me to phrase that would be to say that we have a handful of outlets that cover the Cyclones and despite all these "sources" that exist out there, nobody can get any kind of confirmation on this injury until 4:00 this afternoon when ISU releases it and suddenly they've all got the story at once. I guess all those sources dried up.

I think I'm going to upgrade to the Hockey version:

That would get some good looks out on the town. Image Enhancer. I may get one

I wonder what out indefinitely really means?? Maybe Prohm will give more details after the game.

BTW: props to Babb and the freshman for stepping up big tonight. Hard to believe the quality of defense tonight with the young guys really hustling.

You've got to be kidding me. There goes our entire non-conf resume. Going to be hard to make the tourney now unless we win 11 or 12 conference games.
Must have been a bad night for you considering we killed Mizzou

This is our chance for new kids to step up and see what they are made of. I wouldn't be surprised to see how well some of those newbies play tonight and in Maui.

Holy ****. I told you so! :)

Been a Cyclone Fan for 43-years. Can any of you youngsters tell me if there been any technological improvement in Nutt-Cups and can one now order on Amazon ?

I carry two pair:

Titanium for Football and BBall season
Kevlar for offseason

I am thinking carbon fiber would be nice for dressier occasions

We beat Iowa with Jeff Beverly as a starter and Hans Brase playing major minutes last year. I’m not exactly feeling terrible about our chances this year with or without Wigginton

Mizzery is better than Iowa. Wish it was at home but I am not too worried about that game.

We may run into a buzz saw in Maui though.

Remember when you said Nebraska was a lock for the tourney last year if they won 12 conference games and they won 13 and weren't on the bubble? I 'member

Lol, yeah, that wasnt one of my better moments. Im just disapointed we arent going to have a full team for Maui, been waiting years to see them get a tourney like that and it seems like we are going to be short-handed there. Im worried about getting swept there and then losing to Iowa without Wiggington and Lard.

I am worried you are going to have more bad moments.
