Woo WTF happened to Sconnie?

Pant thanks for making me LOL with the dumpster of syringes comment in the game day thread. Holy cow that dude went off the rails.
Several things. Hornibrook was out so our backup was playing, and we had several inoportune fumbles and penalties. Also our defense is really young and injured this year, so we’re a lot more reliant on our offense. And they have just been a major disappointment this year.

Also, what poster and in which thread? I wasn’t on cyclone fanatic much yesterday?
*edit* nevermind, found it

Hadn't checked scores so this was my first notice that the Hawks lost. Was annoyed earlier that Badgers lost because they had the lead/tiebreaker on them in that for **** division. So, go Northwestern after today!
I also didn’t realize Iowa lost, that is wonderful. I don’t really care if Northwestern, Purdue, Minnesota, or Illinois wins the division, but I definitely don’t want Iowa or Nebraska to

I actually like NW, so it’s easier for me to cheer for them to win the division vs Wisconsin.
Booooo, but we’re likable :(

None of those fanbases hold a candle to Ohio State fans. God they are so annoying
I think any school with a large contingent of fans who didn’t attend the university is going to have more ********. Not that you can’t be an ******* fan if you attended the college you cheered for, but I think it’s a moderating factor.

Also, people in Big 10 country are wayyyy too high on the big 10 (though in the interest of “glass houses” this site is too high on the big 12 and too low on the big 10).

I do love the do not disturb feature on cell phones (11 p.m. to 8 a.m for me). As soon as it goes off silent at 800 it beeps with missed text/calls. My morning people can't turn themselves off even on weekends. Seriously, you think Boxster's going to be replying to you at 7ish on a Sunday morning? Hey, Boxster didn't respond, better call him to! Does Boxster text or call you at 2 a.m.? That would be a no. o_O

Missing out on those 2am booty calls though

And that’s why they do - someone’s gotta keep the relationship going.

Husband came back from the game with a sunburn to the right side of his face. SOMEday he'll remember the sunblock when he's in the stands on a sunny day.

If you follow the person or their account is public, you can click on the (link to) the tweet itself and then be able to see replies. However, if some of the replies are from protected accounts, you won’t be able to see them.
Just try it.

Job ad came out Friday. School in Worcester, MA (one of my dream destinations due to the American Antiquarian Society being in town----easy research budget).
They want a strong teacher who specializes in antebellum reform movements. The ad looks like one I would write for myself.

So I sent it to my normal reference folks to make sure that this was actually happening.
Assumption College has a chance to be an ultimate win in this whole process.

One of my retirement dreams is to adjunct after retiring and volunteer over at the American Antiquarian Society, like the front desk guys who help orient new researchers in.
The one who worked with me was a retired cardiologist. I just think that would be fun.

And assigning research projects where there's absolutely no way that students could reasonably say "Um, I didn't have a chance to find anything....." That's priceless.
Doing research by driving a mile from campus is phenomenal.

Ladies and gentlemen, for your entertainment I now present...
Me, and the big.........
