Not to interrupt the discussion on the Whale/Shark/Orca mutant socks, but I heard on the car radio-ma-jigger this morning that we are likely getting snow in the TCs tomorrow but it's not supposed to stick - ground way too warm for that.

So back to the socks - are my offwhite background socks with little dark blue road bikes on them okay to wear? I need a ruling here.

Sorry, don't have a pic - I'm at work and the socks aren't. They are supposed to be home behaving themselves but you never know if they went for a ride to play in the rain.
They look great with your pumps.

Hope you made it home at a decent time! When I started college, one of the things that surprised me was the straightened of IACounty/rural roads. My part of IL is the same as WI, lots of curvy roads! I think maybe ne ia is similar because they are similarly hilly

"My part of IL?" I'm so confused, I thought you lived in Madison?

Also, so true about NE IA. It's so different from the rest of the state. The thing I remember most about my trips to Dubuque was how hilly it was.

Edit: Sorry for all the posts in a row. Getting caught up on RTT, apparently I've missed out on about a week's worth of posts.

I have something a little similar. Myself and the three kids have a 3500 deductible. Annual physicals and immunes are covered otherwise nothing else until 3500 then nothing else out of my pocket. It's a little over a grand a month. If I went to my wife's family plan, she has single covered, it would be 1300 some/month for the premium. Have to stay on by ourselves.
Hmm. $460 premiums here for myself and daughter. $5400 deductible but 100% coverage after that.

Speaking of health, my surgery is less than two weeks away. Equal parts excitement and dread right now. Excitement that wow, I've waited so long for this, dread about staying above water with finances since I'll be unpaid for six weeks and with how costly transition has been so far, my finances aren't that great to begin with.

Mine have too. Length, color, style....they are completely out of line.

My wife will take control about once a month and force me to get them in line.

Next she'll force me to shave the shoulder hair

Ugh, eyebrows. I'm like the 12th Doctor, I have attack eyebrows. I literally have to do maintenance at least once a week on them. There's a couple hairs that grow insanely fast, that if I don't trim, they'll be an inch long within a few weeks. It's like my damn eyebrows have antennae.

That antenna comment made me laugh, not the overall eyebrow comment. Hopefully your not mad Harimad.
