Logged In as Someone Else?

I was a little shocked to see so many alerts on my profile when I came to CF this afternoon. But upon dropping down, it says I'm "HardcoreClone" which clearly I am not.

Just a little miffed as to why this would happen. Upon clicking on the forums it reverted back to my normal profile that's always logged in. Just hope it's not happening with me on someone else's computer. Hopefully no edits can be done under the alternate identity.

I figured I would bring it to your attention.

Did this happen previously as well? I know it was some forum I'm a part of had this issue pop up a few years back. Believe it was related to something with the forum software.

This has been going on for some time now, and there has been a previous thread about it. It has happened to me as well, where I find that I am in someone else's profile. As I recall from the previous discussion, it seems to happen to people who stay logged in.

Perhaps some kind of pointer to a database is possibly stored on the local computer, and the underlying database changes in such a way that the saved pointer points to someone else's info??? In any case, it would seem to be a pretty severe software bug.

It's a server thing. You're not logged in as somebody else. Will get this corrected. Sorry guys.
