Not exactly sure.
A few weeks ago, I was picking on my teenage daughter by calling her generation the Tide Pod generation. She doesn't like this very much when I say it. She then went on to admit that one of her friends put a Tide Pod in his mouth. It evidently started to dissolve almost immediately and he spit it out. Yes, he tried a Tide Pod. By the way, his ACT score was 36.

I will say I think the hot water thought may have been off, but cold water loads probably do create issues.

Just an observation not a political starter. Something I’ve noticed about the SC senate questions over 20+ years. The senators say they want a non political person with an open mind, but then ask them all these political what if questions and get mad when the appointee says they can’t answer the what if questions.

Like asking you what you would pay for a 2010 Ford but get no other information.

We air dry dress clothes and a few other things. Everything else goes in the dryer. In KS i tried to get her to use a clothes line outside and that lasted about a week.
I have always had and used an outdoor clothesline, even when I had to buy one, dig a hole, add quik-crete and "plant" it myself. I love hanging clothes outside. Except when it rains 10 minutes after I've done so.

Parents of human children.........how bad are the first round of shots? Baby CG has his a day before a two day work thing I'd like to try and attend. But I've heard the shots can make baby sad and fussy. Also to sleep poorly. DH could handle it but I don't know that I could, lol. Called to reschedule shots and no availability until November which is way too late.

Mine were understandably PO’d when they got the shots but otherwise fine. I thought mine may have slept better but I’m getting old and senile.

Baby CG will be upset for a while but it shouldn't be for too long. When young, we usually gave our kids Tylenol or ibuprofen about 30 minutes before shots. Honestly, it will probably hurt you more than it does the baby.

By the way, don't you know that shots aren't good for you?

I've heard they get sleepy or fussy so BC, sounds like yours were the former. I definitely possibly cried when he got foot pokes in the hospital. Though that could have been sleep deprivation and hormones. Who am I kidding, I will probably get sad for these too. I don't like his little sad cries.

FYI, when we bought our new washing machine, I was here when the delivery guys (who also repair..ma/pop store) showed up. They said that the pods are the worst thing ever invented for washing machines. They said that a good portion of their calls are for the washing machine pump not working. They show up and a big ball of plastic is jammed in the lines or pump. Said that very few peoples water is hot enough to fully melt the plastic (especially when a couple cold loads are ran). We now use liquid in everything. We were getting new (higher end) dishwashers every 3 years, for pump and drain reasons. Will see if using liquid detergent helps.
Pods work in my dishwasher (which has pretty good heat), but I won't use them in the washing machine. I still wash clothes the way Mama taught me - start the water filling, add the powdered detergent and let it dissolve, add clothes.

Book smart and/or high IQ =/= high level of common sense. I have a son that is walking talking living proof of that. :D

Starting hour number 4 now

I’m listening to people in bay next to me hymmimg and hawing over if they are going with their dad for more testing or staying back. Cripes, this isn’t a 10 minute conversation. Either you are or aren’t. Let the doctor help other and not hold her up deciding.

I can't imagine how uncomfortable those chairs must be for her. I am curious as to why the ER instead of her primary care doc or one of his/her partners?

She’s in the bed, I’m in the chair. Her Dr takes Fridays off. NP actually. And with that, the other ones are always a day or two out. She said she wanted seen today. So here we are. She’s sleeping.
