Its basically the modern version of people who would listen to radio at the games... except we all carry the modern version of that radio in our pockets now.
I've tried in vain a few times, looking for injury updates and/or opinions on questionable calls that the at home audience at home may put into those threads. I'd love to be able to see other scores, too. Used to take advantage of an unsecured WiFi, but that's long gone.
