I’m just hoping baby CG is a sleeper baby so we can see plenty of it when you’re on leave.

Update: They spent six hours at the meeting and did end up buying the timeshare. I have been warned to keep my mouth shut and GFIL is bleeding he is biting his tounge so hard. They have never been good with money and apparently a couple of years ago when they needed a new roof he had to pay for it.

Back to this ridiculous disaster recovery test. This still can't get any data replicated after nearly 48 hours. Yesterday they got the brilliant idea for us to all reconvene at 5am BST. So here I am, just drove to the office in a torrential downpour to be told they have made no progress on data replication. My counterpart in the UK couldn't get to the data center by 5am because there isn't any hotel nearby and the buses don't start running that early. He normally works remote and took the train to town then buses to the data center.
