I'd really like to go to a front pocket wallet to slim down the stuff I carry but both front pockets are already occupied by phone and keys and I don't want to take up more space with a wallet. I did get a card holder for the back of my phone that I keep DL, debit, and credit cards in and it's awesome. I could probably stop carrying a wallet, but I have a small amount of cash and all my non-essential cards in it. Might try just leaving it in my glovebox so I have access to that stuff but don't need to carry it. I think the may thing to get away from the traditional wallet is to just try and be more organized, but I suck at that.
I have a single fold card carrier with a front DL window. In it I have personal CC, business CC, ATM card and AAA card as well as a (paper) organization membership card, health insurance card and dental insurance card. It is much, much, much more compact and comfortable than my old Costanza wallet. My money goes in a money clip in a different pocket.
My wallet is a little too full for my liking. I need to get rid of some cards.
The most useless thing right now? My 9 year olds tooth that fell out at the movie theater last night.
I'm a single fold man also. Don't like tri-folds. Back right pocket.

It's only about 3/4" thick, so it's not too bad.

I'm a big fan of Crabby wallets. They're pretty cheap and hold everything I need daily. Was always a back pocket guy but tried the minimal wallet thing in the front and won't go back.
I do have a full size Costanzaesque wallet I keep in my car that has a lot of the extra cards and things that I don't need all the time.

This thread prompted me to finally clean out my wallet. (Soooooo many hair salon appointment cards) Most "useless" thing in my wallet right now is probably my YMCA membership card. 
I did discover that I still had some money on a gift card that I thought I had used up. Otherwise the three most important things are the debit card, driver's license, and auto insurance cards.
I then cleaned out my purse. Oy. My husband has this terrible habit of handing off a receipt to me if we're together to put in my purse. Ugh. Stop. I don't want it either. I need to clean out my other purses, too. That might be a 20 minute weekend project.

Bought when I was 16 because I thought I needed an "adult wallet". 9 years running and still kicking. Texture rubbed off the leather years ago but I would definitely buy another one.
Highly recommended.
In regards to the front pocket/back pocket thing, I used to be a back pocket guy but switched over to front pocket and never looked back.

Step one, shop at Fareway instead of HyVee.
Can't even readily find an adequate replacement for my 20 year old wallet. They are out there but mostly stupid slim short and trifolds that can't accommodate the costanza! I don't know how you carry much of anything in a trifold. I've got more cards than I need and various receipts that I clean out once a month or so.
My wallet is usually full Costanza. I don't carry much cash on me but anymore every place you go has some kind of rewards program so you either have a card to swipe or punch card for something to save a few bucks.
I just got one of these as well. Pretty nice not having a big wallet in the back pocket.
