Man, I love that we're at a level we can go after these highly rated kids, but seeing their offer lists just makes me nervous.
We're certainly not going to get all of those kids, or even a high percentage of them, but we've certainly gotten enough to build our program around (Wigginton, THT and Griffin being the latest).
All about relationships, all high potential prospects have impressive offer lists. Take a look at THT's, Wigginton's, and Griffin's offer lists to calm the nerves.
Yeah I agree. It's fun to see our name in the mix. WE are actually getting some now also. It would suck to be like Iowa and your main competition are teams that never or seldom make the tourney.
You really only need 1 or 2 of these guys a class to have a great foundation.
Right. Like the 2000 team had Fizer and Tinsley as the stars and then you need some high 3 star low 4 star type guys to fill out the team. Like Nurse, Horton, Shirley all those guys would probably have been 3 star recruits.

I'm liking our chances for PF Luke Anderson. Saw mentions of Xavier being top competition but then Chris Mack left for Louisville. Profile shows, ISU, Xavier, Notre Dame and Georgia Tech. Xavier will have a new coach, Notre Dame hasn't offered and GT just offered March 22nd so hopefully we are ahead of them on the relationship building. Here is his ISU relationship progression:

Romeo Weems is an absolute stud. If Prohm could pull him from the heart of Michigan that'd be his most impressive haul yet IMO. Clearly in heavily on a number of heavy hitters. Hope we can get a couple.

Agreed. Although I am getting cautiously optimistic on Romeo Weems. The staff has been out to see him numerous times. They seem to like their position there. From what I have gathered Daniyal Robinson has a pretty solid connection with his AAU program as well.
Yeah I've been kinda getting that feeling as well. Not gonna jump on the Weems Wagon just yet, but I am certainly keeping my eye on that relationship going forward.
EJ Liddell is still my #1 want of the class, and #1 front court want, over Weems, but I guess you could put Weems at the 3 if you were to get both (very very unlikely)
