I probably think it was never on the table. Why would we offer him and then pull it. He was always a project.
While it is possible that we never actually did offer him, it’s also possible that he didn’t develop like we anticipated and pulled the offer. Could see either.

True but since the offer he didn't have time to develop anything. We offered a few months ago and he just became eligible in January. Our coaches would have evaluated him pretty well before we offered. It's not like we offered as a Freshman and he never got better.

We offered him 9/14/2016, not a few months ago.

Bossi's Best: High school juniors who should see their stock rise. Two ISU targets on the list. Once again it appears the staff is doing a good job recognizing undervalued talent and starting the relationships early.

Kira Lewis
Interest: Offers from Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, LSU, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Houston and others.
Why his stock could take off: First, part of the reason that his stock could be rising is that we've had him ranked a little too low. That aside, Lewis is a pure scorer off the dribble who can also get hot knocking down contested jump shots.

KyKy Tandy
Interest: Offers from Cincinnati, Kansas State, Western Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, Oklahoma State and Iowa State.

Why his stock could take off: A scoring machine on the high school level, Tandy is coming off of a monster junior season. He's a tough and skilled scorer off the dribble who always plays in attack mode. Some see him as more of an undersized shooting guard, so he'll have his chance to prove that he can be a full-time point guard.

I just assume when our staff is after someone, they are undervalued now and about to rise up the rankings

Agree. This staff has been very good at recognizing talent early in the high school ranks. Very few misses when it comes to their evaluations.
