Yeah, some people find it wrong when I shorten my first name. Always mispronounce it for some reason also.
I went to a Timberwolves game Saturday Night with some good friends I hadn't seen in a really long time. It turns out it had been about 10 years. Our conversations were just like there hadn't been that long time span between gatherings. Friendship really is something that lasts a long time. Either that or there's only so many people that have the same dumb sense of humor as us.
@VeloClone - By the way, the entrance looks great. It's like it's not even the same place. It actually feel like you're walking into a big-time venue instead of the Hickory gym.

Was walking out of The Barn on the U campus yesterday and the Gopher pep band tuba dudes were walking down the sidewalk playing and singing "Hey! Baby". Made me feel right at home. The old standby still being used.
I hope I never have to introduce @cowgirl836 to anyone using her real name. I will probably just default to Cowgirl.
Hard to type when you are throwing up in the mornings and trying to catch up on work in the afternoons.
She has been traveling a lot so there has been plenty of opportunities for those "welcome home" evenings. Also should we get DH a cat or dog or something to keep him company?

I have a friend who is Jorge. All of his white friends pronounce it Hor-hay and all of his Hispanic friends pronounce it George.
I kinda like these. Maybe look too much like a wedding band but what the heck.

I used to work with a Tiana from up Nort' Dakota/Montana way. She had people meeting her expecting a woman of color all the time.
