Parents back on US soil after a week long cruise. Get their luggage, get to their car, and there's a flat. Sounds like my dad and the husband of the other couple they went with got it changed without a lot of trouble.

@wxman1 I just was outside cutting boards and there was a single prop plane flying back and forth overhead. It kept revving up and down and it also sounded like it was sputtering. Do you know why it might have been doing that?

Sputtering would be odd but they could have been doing stall practice like me today. Depending on the type they were doing they would pull the power back and add it back during each stall initiation and recovery.

In related news I got humbled today. Not sure what I was expecting my skills to be like after three years but I didn't do as good as I had hoped. Still very safe but just not quite up to snuff.

Too bad I missed out on the MBB game but maybe I could be persuaded to go flying during each remaining game. For the right price of course.

Wow, first game today was a beat down that I just wanted to end. Nastiest I’ve ever been around. I don’t think some of these kids have ever been pushed to do more than chase butterflies. Some would complain when someone touched them. Told them if they didn’t want any physical contact to play ping pong. I think some parents officially don’t like me now.
 
May have poisoned myself. Made a fried egg sammich and didn't finish it entirely. Didn't really taste bad but not great. Looked at expiration date. Yikes! Not even going to share that date. Was a six pack that must have gotten "lost" among the other stuff in the frig.

Well that didn't work so well. Hell the other ticket got to Tx. quicker than that. Thanks for letting me know that it arrived finally.

Figured it would be efficient to make myself a Quick Reference Guide for the kinds of things I'm citing, and spend this week cleaning up my footnotes from the informal method I used to just get them in there thus far.

Now I'm sitting here reading the Chicago Manual of Style, and I hate everything. This is painfully dull.
