Liberty bowl should be renamed the puke bowl because that is how appealing it is to other football programs that are in the P5. I am not traveling there and I hope ISU would protest and decline an invite. Memphis can take their puke bowl game and shove it. Beside the REAL Memphis is in Egypt.

But we've had plenty of basketball road games in Kansas City against the Jayhawks that seemed to turn out alright.

I’ll support them from my couch if they play Memphis in Memphis. Got better things to do with my money than waste it on that trip.
And I was wrong - had seen rumors they were being picked but sounds like it's a done deal. Well then. First bowl game in 5 years - if we're picked for Liberty, we'll make it a neutral-site game.

I was totally against you this whole post, but it’s impossible to deny your knowledge of history and geography.
Yep, I feel horrible to be alive knowing I am happy for the guys on the team to have another game to play, to be able to practice and grow for next year, and to have the loyal fans support them in force. We’re doomed, we might as well give up football if the world is against us.
Fans being disappointed about playing Memphis in their home stadium is 100% understandable. Its underwhelming. Yes I would of taken that at the beginning of the season, but with how the season played out, its disappointing.
Can someone explain Memphis' situation and other bowl options? If they have other options, I can't understand why that school or its conference would want to celebrate a great season by playing a bowl game in their home stadium.
