I think the crowd will be pretty split TBH.If it's against Memphis, oh well. Still nice to be bowling again, and ISU fans will still represent down there.
On the other hand I would think the sponsor (autozone) would be for it in regards to logistics. Less travel expenses. Was the Liberty bowl forced to take Memphis? Because it doesn't make sense to take a hometown team for revenue for the city.
Seriously. How Iowa State has the end of the season been? Get screwed against K State and more than likely get to play an away game in a bowl game. For the SEC being the greatest conference in the world, you’d think even with ole miss self imposing a bowl ban, they could still fill their bowl slots. I know, I’m just a little bitter. So, we're ****** into a roadgame bowl?
It is already confirmed that Memphis will be playing..in Memphis
We get to play #20 Memphis in Memphis! JP better have negotiated a return trip for them to Ames.
Osu is for sure San Antonio or Orlando. No chance at all they are in Memphis.Hope for OSU to the Liberty
Nothing good comes from playing Memphis in Memphis for our bowl game. Hope for OSU or UT to Memphis.
Want some cheese to go with that whine?Nothing good comes from playing Memphis in Memphis for our bowl game. Hope for OSU or UT to Memphis.
I would go anywhere other than the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, TN vs Memphis. Teams in bowl games should not have a home game advantage. I will be watching on TV. I would have loved to have gone to Camping World or Cactus. This is just ridiculous.
