Opinions on that INT

How pathetic must your life be to continuously troll an opposing fan base on whether or not a call was a TD or INT?

You call it continuously trolling, I call it my very first post ever and just trying to show the other side of the coin. I'm not sure how that equates to continuous trolling, but I did notice you failed to refute any of my points.

OSU fans are well versed in feeling like the referees cost you a great season. Also, in the event that Campbell leaves, we are familiar with the feeling of the "savior" leaving, as Brad Underwood just did to us. So, don't let one call not going your way ruin your outlook on your season...you probably have bigger problems on the horizon, unfortunately.

Oh, another thing; a thread of 22 mostly-on-topic pages regarding three seconds of football is truly impressive. Our threads about the game generally devolved in to bashing or praising Tommy Tuberville.

I wasn't talking about you, I was talking about @Cyliam who has been proven to be a Hawkeye fan but pretends to be an ISU fan.

You're all good dude

Not its not. Murdocks hand his pinning it to his chest. His hand is resting on top of Murdocks. Regardless, one still shot doesn't prove anything. You still have to complete the process of the catch going to the ground, and the defender did not do that.

The argument you two are having is exactly why the correct replay review would have been incomplete.

There's enough video evidence to say no process of a catch was completed but there is not enough to reverse the call from OK State had sole possession of the ball (call on field) to that there was duel possession (ISU TD).

Cause the hand is pinning the ball to his own chest.
Murdock's hand (and arm) are pinning it to the defender. It's already been documented in the past that offensive plays can make and control catches into the defender's body. Murdock also was the first player to establish contact with the ball and brought it down into the defender. His hand never came off the ball at any point during the catch, however the defender's did.

OSU fan here. Referees can come out of a review and say they made an egregious error. They could have came out and said interception, touchdown, or incompletion with no regard to what their initial call was. So really, what they initially called had no impact on their final call. I had not seen it happen until Bedlam. The fact is, they didn't believe they made an egregious error.

The most notable difference is that one is pinned on a DBs back and the DB has zero hands on the ball and zero right to argue he had any possession. The other is pinned to the DBs chest and the DB has two hands on the ball and he has every right to claim he had possession. Sure, one of them is only finger tips, but it's still chest and two hands versus back. Not even remotely close to the same situation...you know that, right?

Does it matter what transpired after the play was over? Because the play is already over in this picture.
This statement doesn't hold up with the fact that Murdock initiated ball contact in the air and brought it down into the defender, firmly, with his arm. The offensive player is fair game to use the defender as an assistance to the catch, it doesn't matter specifically where on the body. Both players were on the ball as they hit the ground, which leaves only two possibilities: dual-possession, or an incompletion.

There are two different angles shown in this article. Green had his right hand underneath the ball as well as his left hand on top of the ball which was against his body. I wish I could upload the other angle but the file is too large. Here is a photo that shows that Green had two hands on the ball against his body.

So I just read that article, and discovered it's written by Richard Johnson? You're seriously citing an article written by **** ****?

There are still people arguing that it was an INT? Well, I’m guessing they also believe the earth is flat, too.

Does anyone know if ISU has asked the Big 12 office to look at the play? I don't know how it could be ruled anything other than dual possession.

It's over. Nothing will change even if the stupid refs write us another apology letter for their complete and utter failure to perform. We are ISU, and that's how everyone else likes it. Campbell sticks around a few more years and we will be piss pounding all these Nancies on a yearly basis. Soon..... SOON.

From the time my kids were six years old I stressed only losers make excuses...move on.

Seeing the opposing fans come to our board on Tuesday trying to justify a win is more than enough for me to know we got hosed.

moving on, can someone ban this clown?

Did y'all see where Gundy wrote Lanning a letter, a la Bill Snyder, after your win over OU? Although he writes letters to coaches often, it was apparently the first letter he's ever written to an opposing player.

gundy appears to have matured. he was very calm and mellow during game.

We all needed a chance to vent, now we have had that. I would encourage everyone to move on.

I understand where you are coming from, and I somewhat agree. What still irritates me is the fact is that we had a chance to play for a Big 12 title, something that could bring us to a national stage, taken from us. I’m not saying we would have won the next two games, or even won that game. Heck, I don’t even know if we would have made the extra point of two point conversion, but we don’t know because poor officiating took away our chance.
