Texas Game Attendance

I will be vastly disappointed if its not a sell out. We sadly have the best non-conference record in years and are playing a rising Texas team on National TV. Pack the Jack!

I realize that we're still a week away, but I checked the ticket situation this morning and it's ugly right now. There are literally entire sections that are completely empty and huge chunks of empty seats in almost every section outside the 20's and all the way through the endzone. Really hope some folks start buying tickets, this needs to be a wild atmosphere on Thursday.

I imagine some folks are waiting to see the forecast. If its going to be nice, there will be a huge walkup crowd. If its rainy/chilly, most casual fans will plant their butts on a warm, dry couch.

I am surprised the athletic department is pumping this game up/pushing it more. I think we're going to be disappointed with the attendance but happy with the atmosphere (and the result).

Early forecast I saw was for perfect weather. High of 71 and mostly sunny. Our usual crew will be in the lots tailgating as we are skipping work at noon.

I didn't realize they raised the single game prices for this game. That seems overly optimistic for a Thursday night. There are tons available but I don't see a lot of sales at full price.

Yeah, I'm not sure that was the best strategy for getting a good crowd for a Thursday night game. There are fewer tickets available for the Kansas game right now than the Texas one.
