Since they are built like Tight Ends and run like WRs, will we see the Chief's Travis Kelce shovel pass play?

Obviously we're saving the TE game plan for that crucial moment at the goal line when we need 6 to beat OU at the last minute.

When did you get a catch?

Ok ok. The TE's have 2 receptions and I have 0. Pretty close, all things considered.

Golesh did say prior to the season that this staff and offense mostly uses TEs in the red zone. I don't think they are as useful as a WR in the middle of the field, because they can't stretch the field vertically as well as a WR. Plus a couple of our WRs probably block downfield just as well as our TEs as you can see with the big chunk plays we've gotten from screens already.

This is the one year we really don't need to target the TE's. There's a ton of depth at WR already, plus Montgomery is proving to be a great receiver out of the backfield (David Johnson clone?) As long as the TE's do a good job in their blocking assignments I'm ok with them not getting catches. Next year I think we will see more from them.
