Congrats to you too! Um. Elsewhere. (I actually started it in May, sorry I don't update more often!)
Elsewhere entirely because old company didn't want to reward me for the most productive year of my career. Between zero salary increase, and the rise in healthcare benefits expenses, I got a nice pay cut out of the deal.
Best part was the honest, one on one, discussion my unit leader had with me about why. Uncertainty over my transition. But oh boy, you should have seen the can of worms that was opened when I mentioned that to HR rep. I didn't even want to do anything legally about it, I just wanted someone besides me to know what was said, and why I wasn't getting what I deserved. Apparently I "misunderstood" what was said. But, no I didn't. I heard him just fine the first time.
New job came with a 9% base salary increase, and I get paid overtime for after-hours work on top of that. I've been averaging 57 hours/week for the last month and a half, so it's been really lucrative!
Guess who is buying drinks!!!!
