That's because you're from Mason City. Nothing against Mason City (well except that the basketball team beat our team my senior year led by the slightly puffy guy and the guy with the bad, spiky hairdo). You just don't understand the relationship Taco Tico has with Fort Dodge residents. It really is a very personal and spiritual thing. Taco Tico is the essence of who we are.

We don't care if you don't like Taco Tico in Mason City or the ones in Arkansas* or Kansas. However, if you put down our Taco Tico, it really burns us right in our soul and we may hold a personal grudge against you for a very long time**.

*A friend from FD currently lives in NW Arkansas and once saw the Duggar's at a Taco Tico there. Yep, Cool Story Bro.
**Mrs JCyclonee and my daughters do not like Taco Tico. Because of this, I know I can never fully love them.

Sounds like your family has a better food pallet than a 12 year old then!

Not exactly sure.
Great news, he survived and we are home. He seems to be perking up a little more. When doctor came in, he said the MRI was off and the LCL and MCL were fine, but the meniscus was torn and about 40-50% he shaved off. I looked at the kid and could read him perfectfully even though he was still a little off. The only reason he couldn't play a few more games was because his meniscus was supposed to be fine. He was mad that the surgery didn't get held, although I'm glad it's done and time to move forward.

Btw, never ate at tico, sister said it wasn't good so I just never tried it.

If you like it, let me know. I like some of Seth's humor, but he also comes across as an insufferable and conceited ******* a lot of the time.

The show looked like it could provide a laugh or two, but I wasn't sure if it would be able to hold up.
It entertained me. I laughed out loud a few times.

Well, one should not rely on the unsupported statements of sisters.

Good news and glad you all made it home. In 20-30 years he'll be very happy that the surgery was performed quickly when he's not dealing with arthritis.

About Tico and your sister:
1. The Mason City Tico doesn't count
2. It's OK not to like it if you're not from FD but it does bruise our collective soul a little bit and she'll never be fully accepted by true Dodgers

Torn meniscus in my right knee was what I was dealing with a couple of years ago with Sneller. I was walking on it in two days. Would have healed fully and quickly if I didn't have surgery on my left foot 16 days later. All of my movement up & down in chairs & bed, etc, was with my right knee. It got plenty of exercise. Maybe a bit too much! :)

Anyhoo...I would think that meniscus vs LCL & MCL would be GOOD news?

I thought I had torn meniscus too - and then the orthopedist informed me that both knees are full of arthritis. So that's why they're so sore all the time!!!

Good news for Pfizer stockholders.

You youngins and all of your aches and pains. ;)

Because of all the talk here on BP and BPM it of course came up for discussion over beer and sammich last night with ISU classmate. He had just checked his pressure at the pharmacy and it was 145/something. Boxster, "Dude, that's to ******* high." His wife joined us later. Wife, "Dude, that's too high!"

Last time I was in the doc's office, mine was 120/74. I cheered aloud (I think I startled the nurse LOL) and said, "That deserves a cold beer!" She didn't agree with me.
