A little windy but a good lakes ride. Lots of stuff to see today: ambulance and cops at Lake Harriet for some sailboat accident (boat was capsized and later they whipped out of there with sirens blasting), 1962 Bonneville, dead possum in the middle of the road, dat biker gal with those legs, and finally a cute little 3 or 4 year old on a bike seat saying "Hey, Dad, that's old school" (what do 3-year olds know about old school)...made me laugh.

After everything yesterday, stopped at Pancheros. Husband was facing the drink station, and pointed out this little boy (By face, looked 6...body size said 4) The look of determination on his face as he carried two very full cups of water back to the table where his parents and little sister were. He did it a second time, and husband said "Ooo. He got mad about it." (Guess he really scrunched up his face when he turned around for the second trip) We both would have loved to give him a fist bump, but that would have been weird.

So, why would a landlord have every single lock changed on all 20 apartments? The only legitimate reason I can think of is that he lost his master key. And, it was kinda sudden. Keys showed up in our mailbox Friday, locks switched tomorrow.

Packers won, cheese curds for everyone!

Watching The Orville on Fox. It's challenging the validity of my mantra that "Bad science fiction is better than no science fiction at all". Not that I had any expectation that a network TV production would be anything but bad.

We were the Mutt & Jeff couple wearing "Beat Iowa" t-shirts. ;)

Exactly 8 rows behind you. Youngest sat with me, like a mini-me. Oldest came up at halftime, if you saw a kid in shorts with a knee wrapped, a blond Amish type beard, and a ISU mesh hat, you saw him. Youngest went up and down several times to get stuff.

EDIT: I was not one of the two guys dropping F bombs left and right.

Star Lord trying to explain about the people who get all bent out of shape about Sweet Caroline being played at games.

So, we are all in agreement that the loss is GTO's fault? And he's blaming his little guy!
This game's my fault. On our drive on Saturday, I had the son watching the game on my phone and we were losing. After eating lunch and walking around a bit, the kids and I went into a bar to watch the game (and sat right next to some nice Iowa fans - really) while my wife shopped. We started winning.

We left the bar and we watched the game on my phone and we started losing again.

I'll share some blame. Checked the score at intermission of Paw Patrol Live, up with 3 minutes to go. Said to another Cyclone fan, "looks like this should end OK."

Oops.
