NBA: ***Official NBA Draft and Offseason Thread***

The TWolves aren't giving up Wiggins. He is part of their long term plan.

Is he worth the max contract he's about to get? A lot of the advanced metrics have a pretty unfavorable view of Wiggins game, basically a volume scorer who adds little else. The young excuse starts to go away once you get off a rookie deal and onto a max deal too.

If Layden and Thibs thinks so, I think so.

The super max deals are what is shaking up the league, lots of teams are trading players before they have that option because they dont think the players are worth it to their teams. Who in their right mind would give Boogie 40 million yet he may force the Pelicans hand next summer. Just like Wiggins to a lesser extent, you sign him to a close to 30 million contract and your team is never going to be great because he's just a scorer and does nothing else above average.

Yes, he is.

Wiggins is the fourth player age 22 or younger in NBA history to score at least 40 points in back-to-back games, joining LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Allen Iverson.

Thibs made it sound like they have a few guys they want to add but are still waiting on decisions from them as well.

Rose to Cavs has some great memes out there.
