Hmmm...like when Oregon added a 4* PG to their 2017 class, perhaps? Let's hope.Race is class of 2018, right? Looks like Michigan just signed 4* 6' 8" PF, Brandon Johns. Could help our chances with Race?
Nance just committed to Northwestern which was a surprise

Interesting. I saw that his official with Michigan was supposed to start on Saturday. I wonder if he took the Johns commitment as a sign that he was not wanted? Strange as though he was thought of to be going to Michigan then he doesn't even get on campus right after an announcement came out.Nance just committed to Northwestern which was a surprise

Race wanting to play 3, doesn't make me feel any better about their main SF target choosing elsewhere
Northwestern is killing it lately.
I don't think Michigan is any more likely to use Race as a 3 than we would. If you can guard the 3, then you can play the 3.
Michigan plays a similar style to us from what I recall.
Hopefully Coach K retires soon and Collins takes over ASAP.
He can't guard the 3 right now.
With whispers that Race could be announcing his commitment in August after this important evaluation period I thought the thread should be brought back to the front page. After all Prohm is prioritizing Race so should CF with new news.
@RyanJamesMN Richard Pitino, Rick Pitino, Greg Gard, and Steve Prohm among the many watching D1 Minnesota this moring to see Matthew Hurt & Race Thompson
Sounds like a three team race now. ISU still in a good spot, and I imagine right there with Minnesota but to pull him away from his dad's school and his home state school still seems like a huge task.
That's his assistant coach. He has no knowledge of those types of goings-ons.Did he bring the hookers with him, or do they usually save those for campus visits?
