247 auto defaults any juco player to a 3 star when they commit to a program. We won't know real juco rankings until May orobably.
Well considering they have other JUCOs rated and a few four stars I don't think this is true.

Perhaps Ernst laughed at our big men development and usage and decided he could go to a better program. He went all in on himself and won.I'm not sure why anyone thinks Ernst would have stayed even if we wanted him to.
I got the impression we were the only ones who would take him with his injury and he really wanted to be at Iowa or UNI.
Whatever. I don't think Prohm is alone in failing to secure quality traditional bigs here.
I think this is true. He never seemed to me to be all in with the team. He would do some stuff but generally seemed to keep to himself from what I saw.I'm not sure why anyone thinks Ernst would have stayed even if we wanted him to.

Only Hoiberg failed, and it was largely his own doing.
DJ was recruited to be the backup point guard(if monte left the starting). I love Naz, Matt, and Babby but they aren't Pgs like Monte and DJ are. Once DJ got into the flow of big 12 basketball he wasn't going to have a hard time getting minutes. Why? Loaded backcourt and he's good enough to find minutes. Ernst redshirted last year and Carter played spot minutes when McKay was out. I just don't think Ernst would be any better than Holden this year.
What production would Ernst need to have at Xavier for people to think we made a mistake?
I think people would be all over the place with that answer.
Likely still more production than Carter in that time.I think if he scores 1 point over 3 years, some will think it's a mistake.

He could see time at a program like Xavier and it still would have been the correct decision according to some.

Don't worry, he won't.And if he averages 10 & 7 some will still insist that Carter had more upside and was the right choice to keep or was "a better fit".
No just social media stalking. Were you around the team quite a bit?
A paysite had info from a Tennessee teammate claiming he was one of softest players on the team. While it's TBD what he'll accomplish at ISU, I wouldn't say citing a former teammate is "pulling **** out of ass"
And it's not shocking a guy with his past and lack of production wouldn't be thought of highly in his likelihood of contributing.I'm shocked that a fan or player would say something bad about a guy who decided to transfer.

The Ernst debate appears to be at an impasse
