Which part of Hawaii?
Flying into Oahu. Staying in honolulu for 3 nights, get in at 10 pm so the first night is basically just going to the hotel. Will visit north shore area as well during the day. Then 4 nights in Kauai, and then one night in Hanna side of Maui, then 3 nights on the west side.

Try to stay out of Honolulu as much as possible (I'm assuming when you say Honolulu you're talking about Waikiki?). If you're in Waikiki, you have to go to Leonard's Bakery and get some malasadas. It's right on Kapahulu.

Also, get some Manapua at Chun Wah Kam in Aiea. If you want great poke, go to Fresh Catch in Kaneohe (and take the scenic route from Waikiki through Hawaii Kai and around the windward side. Breath taking ocean views). Any of the shrimp trucks on the north shore are fantastic as well. Also, for spendy but cool dining Ola's at Turtle Bay Resort is awesome. Amazing food and the restaurant is literally on the beach. You can sit at tables in the sand if you want, and the entire restaurant is open walls. At night they also do candles in the bay and everything. If you've ever seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall, they eat at it a few times in the movie. Then stop in Haleiwa for a shave ice (Matsumoto is the world reknown place, but I preferred Anahulu. Not as many flavor choices, but the consistency of the ice is much better than Matsumoto, in my opinion. Also, it's right across the street from the famous Haleiwa bridge and bay.)

I'm not familiar much with Hana side in Maui, but Fresh Market is awesome in Lahaina and my all time favorite restaurant in Maui is Da Kitchen in Kahului.

I didn't spend a lot of time in Kauai, but there's a taco truck named Tacos Al Pastor that had hands down the best fresh fish tacos I've ever eaten in my life.

Did you go to that game? Sounds like it was a barn burner, and KSU got shafted at the end.
No, I may go on Saturday though against TTech though. A family friend is out of town for like two weeks so they offered the tickets for the games I can go to.

First morning with an alarm in 2 weeks. Hubby went back to work yesterday and the kids go back to school today.

No good man. Hate to hear that type of news.

Frustrating but I just didn't have enough pull on the hiring board. The one lady I had to have another interview with to try to sway her has been close with the one they chose for a long time. A contributing issue is something my employer has always struggled with having the opportunities for young talent to grow and get promoted before leaving out of frustration.
