Gonna be in the high sixties on Monday.![]()
You really should just become a fan of the indianpolis zoo. Like, half of their updates are about orabgutans. New mama and baby now!
As much as I dislike listening to my daughter's music, I do have an appreciation for Bruno Mars. It gets overplayed but I like his music until I'm tired of it.Bruno Mars was on carpool karaoke, they might be pop but he has some catchy tunes, also JLaw is on.
I prefer your weather people. If we get a snow prediction, I just plan on us getting twice the amount they predict. My boss said he heard 12-14 inches of snow. That means we'll get about 3.

I agree they would be nice, but who's going to pay for them? There's been debate's on here about it before, so I don't need to rehash it, but when school districts like the DMPS or the Waterloo school district have bigger concerns, they should spend whatever extra money they have trying to alleviate those problems or on things that will benefit more students instead of using it to get shot clocks. Again, I agree they would help, I just don't know where the money will come from.20-7 for Nevada. We had a comfortable lead in the 4th but midway through the 4th Nevada called a timeout and after it the team went into a stall offense (no shot clock in high school) which imo while within the rules is a pretty chicken **** thing to do. I know there is a major cost in installing shot clocks but they need to be apart of high school basketball.

I guess I don't even consider that to be an issue in this case (it's a larger issue in society, just not here). If you had a lot of wealthy donors come together and say "we're going to set up a fund to buy every high school in Iowa/every high school in a certain division shot clocks, install them, and then pay for people to run them during games." I wouldn't really have an issue with that. My issue is that the IHSAA/IGHSAU should not come out and require that all high schools/all high schools at a certain level should install shot clocks.Unfortunately when the districts ask for help with athletic equipment, donors seem to pop up way more often than for academic needs. In our small community I know 4-5 people that I can drum up $5-10k on a regular basis for anything football or wrestling related. Only one will pop money if a kid needs money for non athletic events.
Many times school boards don't have the best managers on them. What our local school board considers their business guy is a someone who I had to continually correct and school about basic cash flows and financials. Had no clue about depreciation. It is sad.
If it helps, I support you.Wrapped the wife's present last night. She is not impressed with my wrapping job. Jerk. There was also a discussion revolving around scissors and tape which she said were in the wrapping paper box. They were not so I used double sided tape I found. This morning said scissors and tape were found next to where the wrapping paper box was located. A discussion ensued about looking around and I stood my ground on "but they were not IN the box". As every man knows I had no shot at winning but it is worth a shot.
Side note: That argument may be enhanced by how much I work with engineers.

So many people go by what they hear on TV. I go by the NWS. Their forecast says 6.7". Charlie Shortino on NBC15 says a foot.
We usually go with weather.com. The sight is prettier than weather.gov.So many people go by what they hear on TV. I go by the NWS. Their forecast says 6.7". Charlie Shortino on NBC15 says a foot.

Spring Break trip is planned. Puerto Vallarta, here we come!
Mrs. JCyclonee already started her countdown clock on her phone. Only 84 more days to go!
The temp this morning was 5. The temp in PV should be about 85. The weather is 1,600.00% better there (don't give me any crap about absolute zero and Kelvin temperatures).
