Ellingson looks like a smaller skinnier version of Uthoff. Lohaus looked stronger and faster.

If I were to rank guard play this game, four of UNI's guards would take spots 1-4.


Maybe 54 points isn't much to brag about.

Exactly, the rumor behind the Genesis of the big four classic was Fran's dislike of the so called homerism occuring in Cedar Falls. Well guess what Fran, UNI rolled that *** on a neutral court tonight with 5+ Iowa kids on the roster, UNI and ISU are the premier basketball programs in the state and its going to be that way for a long time...

UNI in 2011 with Royce. Cincy was 27th in the AP poll so if Naz makes that three OR they receive a few more votes to get them to #25 it's totally cool but now we're a bubble team

Didn't mean that at all. I just don't think that because something hasn't happened in a while that it can't happen.

I'll walk back being a bubble team, because apparently just being a top 50 rpi team means you're basically in at this point based on gunners link. Almost no chance to end up that high. Fair?

I think their guards will stop penetration and I have my doubts about our bigs being able to score. We've gone 1-3 against them the last 2 years, and I don't think we are as good as those years. We can agree to disagree.

We have got 3-2 vs KU the last two years and 0-4 vs Baylor not sure where you are getting the 1-3 record. If it is just home games it is 2-2.

Baylor's been a horrible matchup for ISU and I don't see that changing this year, although there were still chances for ISU to beat them.

KU....I want to see how ISU does over the next 3-4 weeks, including Baylor before thinking much about it.
