Probably true, Herman just hasn't signed it yet. Not done until both parties sign it!

This is good for ISU, but maybe bad for the B12. ISU doesn't want a strong Texas another team to climb up too, but the B12 needs a strong Texas to survive.

Also it could just be an agent putting false info out there to get a better offer from UT.

Big12 is done for when the current TV contract expires. There will be no more big money contracts from ESPN now that their customer count is a dumpster fire.

No way Herman signs this deal without talking to A&M and Texas first IMO. Herman to South Carolina was supposed to be a done deal until LSU almost opened. So maybe Herman really wants the LSU job. The big 12 would seem to be an easier path to a National Title. No Saban. The big 12 does need Texas to be a contender. I enjoy the coaching silly season. Texas might have leaked this to throw a wrench in the mix. Might have been worried that LSU and Herman were close to a deal type thing.
