So the team is not much better than when I was here. The girls next to me.that were in maybe sixth grade were of course obnoxious and one of them had $87 in her purse (they counted). Oh and two high school boys walked out in front of me wearing camp jackets some kind of Cahart pants and Air Jordans.

Received email from ISU, they've already have half of it raised 551 million committed to it already. That's pretty darn impressive. Lots of folks around with more money than me.
DH and I both got that email today. PBS also stopped by asking for money. I told them I was donating at Christmas. Which is probably true but I also wasn't high on giving the guy at the door money. Especially after hearing about people impersonating Second Harvest and going door to door for money in a scam.

After baking for the last 6 hours for the cake competition at the Texas State Fair tomorrow, I have learned I should stick to pies and cookies.
My Maple Bourbon Peach upside down cake fell apart while taking it out of the pan (has never happened to me before).
My bundt pan cracked while baking and cake went all over my oven (was supposed to be a lemon lime pound cake).
My icing for my yellow cake somehow turned into mortar (Yellow layer cake with salted caramel butter cream frosting).
My white layer cake turned out really tasty but it just looks ugly and I am not good enough at icing to fix it. (White Lavender layer cake with Strawberry Basil Buttercream Frosting)
Ah well. I think pies are next weekend.

wow, so I sang at a couple wedding as a teen. Just realized that those couples have been married like 11-12 years now. Oh my god I'm old
