I just register to vote in Wisconsin which is kind of bittersweet because my vote will probably mean more, but I'm not voting in my home state.

Also, Wisconsin makes it very difficult for students to vote because we can't use our student id's unless they expire within two years and they are good for five years. So I have to go to union south to pick up a special id which the University of Wisconsin is handing out to make it so we can vote

Edit: I also registered to vote on national voter registration day, so that was kind of cool

yeah, the student ID thing is a blatant attempt at trying to keep college kids from voting. As I'm sure you've already gathered.

Yeah, I just think the rule's stupid because why would I have to get a special ID when I need to bring proof I actually go to UW (like a class schedule, my voter registration email, or a utility bill) anyway? And this is kind of a rhetorical question, we know why.

On a non-cavey story, I also got a flu shot today and it was the least painful shot I've ever had, though that might have been I needed to take off my button down shirt so the nurse could get to my shoulder and the cold kind of numbed it.

Took off your shirt? Generally, this is what I hear when I get a flu shot.
