We did enjoy Yellowstone. Thanks for the recommendation to see Firehole Canyon Drive. We weren't able to swim there as there was a bit of a time crunch and there was no parking anywhere close to the swimming hole but the scenery was spectacular. We didn't see any bears but we did see 2 buffaloes fighting about 20 yards from our vehicle.

Also, I need to thank KC for recommending the Grand Prismatic Spring.

Old Faithful is pretty cool if you've never been there before, but my favorites have always been the mini geysers and fountains & thermal pools that are more off the beaten path. The variety in just the mineral deposits is pretty dang incredible. And the algae blooms:

I've never seen a bear there either, but I've seen just about every other critter that resides there.

I'm pretty sure whoever it was in Washington that wrote the Statement of Work for our new accounting software started with, "It must include SAP or equivalent report functionality and must be as unwieldy, awkward and confusing to input data as possible."

I have gone from "SAP could really help with this" at my previous job to "Why?!?! Just Why?!?!" at times with SAP at my current job.

Found a free weekend in September and decided to pick up tickets to the ISU/San Jose St football game!

I just sent my wife the stubhub confirmation E-mail and asked her if she wanted to go with my daughter and me.

Now I wait for the phone call...

I appreciate the cute tot pics as well. I'm going to have to work hard next week on faking pleasantries, I can tell. This vendor. Ugh.
 
It's hard to believe that a single bad record in a database can pretty much shut a company down. Been providing support to the client all day as they deal with this.

Vendors are the worst. I've called one everyday for the past 2 weeks asking for an update on when I'll be receiving a quote and they keep telling me "oh, you should have it by today"..... and then the next day and the next day...

vendor is probably not quite accurate enough as they are supposed to be designing and delivering a product to us. We have been working closely with them for a while now. I don't even know how many months behind they are at this point. Honestly it's probably about a year. And only less than that because a major portion of it, they couldn't figure out, so we did it ourselves. I hope we didn't pay them for work we did. I can't wait for the excuses and pushback next week.

Oh boy, new email just shot up my BP. Don't even have to wait til next week for it!

One of these days I'm going to give and send this meme:

That's the point when you have to copy in their manager and get it escalated. If they actually want your business they have to give you a quote.
