I get home at 5 to see he is push mowing. Go in the house to get changed. See he fixed a blind that had an issue. But I can see he didn't yet get groceries and had only been mowing for maybe 20 minutes (he did have to get the push mower set up). He texted me about the blind at 3pm so I figure that's about when he got started for the day.

I went out to run and he asked if I were going to weedwack when I got back

"nope"

I should probably feel bad cause now it's what, 7:15 and he's weedwacking and still needs to get groceries. I probably could have saved him the 30 minutes but I told him last night I planned to run and probably wouldn't then. He could have gotten started way before 3. We are such opposites on that. I can't relax until I'm done with my "chores" for the day but he'd rather play first and work later. Plus now I'm doing laundry and getting stuff ready for tomorrow.

new filters do not work the same as old. Whar pants, he want rum brooklyn, she's here and he's like packing or some ****.
 
Best guess as of now on the remote.

I changed the oil in the Mustang yesterday. Before doing that I took it for a short drive to make sure the old oil was warm. Perhaps (maybe) it was laid on the back deck of the car and then fell off when driving around. [For that to happen someone would have had to carry it from the living room, through the dining room, the kitchen, and the laundry room. Then into the garage, down 3 steps and past another car. Seems highly unlikely. Still - I have absolutely no other ideas]

I know for sure it's not in the toaster slots. Already checked there.

I know I'm late to the party but I absolutely can't stand watching Hoda and whats-her-name either. I know I am going to offend someone but I feel like I am watching some college sorority girls. I did google Hoda to learn that she was indeed a Tri-Delt and she was also at a Moline station in the mid 80's.
 
My remotes end up buried in couches and chairs because kids and wife leave them where they last used them. Our landline phones are usually a mystery.
 
When I lose something I always ask myself a question like, "If I were a remote, where would I hide?" It usually doesn't work but does succeed in driving the kids crazy.
