Bless you for those peppa pig links. Outing went well. Bed last night had some crying for mom by toddler and about 30 minutes of me sitting on the floor. Hoping to not do that tonight now that she's familiar with the place and napped pretty well today

Grilled brats for supper tonight, they were really good Thx Fareway. Need to make a salad for family reunion. Woke up early this am and made brownies, warm brownies for breakfast not nutritious but tasty. :)

Boxster how did the rhubarb pie turn out? Have the nephews swept your floor yet? :)

4. So bath time. Funny story, we hadn't yet uses the hot water in our main bathtub. I had turned it in several times to make sure it ran, but never waited for hot water. It turns out they didn't hook it up properly. So two naked kids plus me (in a swimsuit!) Into the shower! Easy enough to convince the older one it would be fine and she liked it. The toddler? We coaxed her far enough in that I could scrub her but couldn't get her in far enough to rinse or do hair. And I could dump a bowl on her but she was getting cold standing in the draft. Decided to grab her and go for it quick. She sobbed the whole time. Glared at me after dh wrapped her in a fluffy towel.

I got out and told dh I took one for the team there.

meanwhile, friends at friend's surprise bday are texting me about how they are doing fireball shots and they miss me.

You've got them down for the night, let DH cover from here, go down to friends and catch up on those shots! :) See how hungover CG handles little ones might as well get the full parenting experience. ;) ( I miss pirate jimlad, where are people finding them?)

you are a funny man indeed! we still have them most of the day tomorrow, they will be up by 6am, and we are helping friends move after the kids are dropped off. But if I had a DD.........

I'm having some rum at home right now, but man, my ass is going to bed in an hour.

No, I sprayed with an end of hose applicator. I hate mosquitoes. The OFF stuff seems to work pretty good. We were out in the yard tossing the mini ISU football around tonight around 8 and no skitters.

I did find I can toss a football with my torn rotator cuff but should not have casually tossed that one behind my back to my grandnephew. Ouch.
