Makes sense, maybe they thought they could get us out ahead of it, just seemed silly to take a flight that was already delayed and push from the gate to spend an hour waiting on the taxi way.

Have to be in line and ready when they say go.

If so, just need to add that from what I've seen, Shark Week has become really poor. I recall it being some interesting studies, information, etc. many years ago, and now it's just one more reality show that makes everything about them seem dangerous.

They mentioned something about how attacks in some area have increased X amount recently and wondered why, without acknowledging that the amount of humans in being in the sharks' space may have something to do with it.

The problem isn't that Shark Week has become poor, which it has, it's that Discovery Channel as a whole is really poor. I'm not sure but I'd guess it's at least 90% reality shows, it very well may be 100% actually.

I disagree. I think this is the first not bad one in well over a decade. It used to be about debunking the myths of sharks as cold-hearted killers, teach about them, etc, but for about the past decade its all been "Summer of the killer shark" 1-12. Finally this seems they've mostly gotten away from that and gone back to educating about them instead of fear mongering.

Sharks are taking American jobs and most of them are rapists. I propose we build a Great Barrier reef and make the sharks pay for it. Make our waters great again!

Perhaps, but the conclusion of the last show I just watched was finding a 'shark repellent'. :)
