Actually, just had this discussion with a co-worker myself this morning, in talking about campgrounds locally. He mentioned that they used to go to one, but they converted a bunch of the best spots to 'permanent sites' where people keep a camper for the whole summer. I thought "why would you want by a camper...a bedroom on wheels...to go to the same place with the same people every weekend?"
 
Thought my A/C was broken. Freaked out trying to find what was wrong. Then after an hour I remembered I manually turned off the power when I checked the filter earlier. Dumb.
 
Larry Bird is pretty comparable to Lebron honestly. Dude was a 12 time all-star and 3 time NBA mvp.

I think Lebron will eventually be widely considered the GOAT. Really just depends on how many more years he plays so he can rack up the stats and accomplishments.
 
80's and low humidity makes for a lot more people out than 90 and humid took the same trail of a couple of weeks ago saw hardly no one. Probably got about a 25 mile ride in, I suppose I need to start taking the hill route now that I've got my legs under me, I'm not looking forward to it.

Ended up changing 2 tires on my truck I put on some used ones and one blew out today, changed it but went from 70's to 75's so had to change the other one to not screw up the rear end/transmission.
 
I really need to remember to pick up a battery for my trip computer on my bike, don't really care about the speed but I'm getting tired of having to know the route to know the miles.

Pants did CG and DH get kidnapped in Jamaica or are they travelling back already, no posts just curious, I figure you've got her on FB.

Last I saw, CG is locked in WDSM's trunk and DH is MIA.

Which reminds me...RTT bikers...as much as I snipe about all you exercisers, please understand that my actions speak louder than my words. The other day going to work, long line of cars behind a tractor, they'd pass when they could, but hills slowed the process. Poor biker got stuck in this mix, trying to ride the 2' paved shoulder alongside cars doing 35-ish...faster than him...slow enough that the cars felt comfortable, but probably not the biker. I'd guess probably 3-4 cars behind the tractor, then the biker, and another 3-4 cars behind that.

Most of the cars would just ride along giving the biker his 2' shoulder. When it was my turn, I gave him his own space until I could pass him in a decent fashion (I wouldn't be hung out next to him).

I didn't vote in that thread but I didn't get him in my top 5 of NBA players yet. He is a great player and physically is bigger than Bird, but I looked at it over different eras and what they mean to their teams. My top 5 are MJ, Bird, Magic, Wilt Chamberlin, and Jabbar. All this is very subjective I realize and to me it is even more than straight statistics, LeBron moved up in my mind because of this series those last 3 games he just brought it every game. Those type of threads always bring a wide range of opinions and are good summer filler fodder for CF, but there are really no definitive answers, it does make a good way to kill time in the off season though.

I'm sure he appreciated the room, I do a lot of road riding because of lack of trail availability, usually co. roads w/out much shoulder, I just stick to the white line on the right and hope for the best. 99% of the people are good about it there are just a few who like to see how close they can get their mirrors next to you.

By the way little 00's summer sounds like a great kids summer. :)
