After further review, I think it was in reference to Auntie KC going all "scorch the earth" Granny in the cell phone thread.

... and I believe BC's dad is a farmer so he knows a lot about animals and is therefore an expert. I'll take the advice of a hardworking Iowa farmer over some "theorist" any day.
