That's because your mommy still cooks you dinner every night before she tucks you into bed.

Wait until you grow up and you're driving home from work and you hate your life and job and family and you go to the BK lounge and eat a whopper in the garage really fast before you have to walk into the hellfire war zone that is now your marriage and household.
Not thank you. You're also not eating real meat when you ate at a fast food restaurant

Doesnt seem to be as many as there used to be. Seemed like I was always told to go to the basement because they were coming. Not sure how many times I snuck upstairs to watch it outside with dad.

Outside of a few notable ones there have not been many in the last 10 years.

Huh. I've lived in Iowa more than half of my life and the most I've ever seen was a funnel cloud that formed but was immediately sucked back up before it ever touched down.

I have only seen a couple. Saw some amazing super cells from long distance in KS as I am sure you did.

In 2013 we were lucky. The day before one of the big ones in the OKC area one moved through Wichita. I have never seen a perfect hook on radar and there not been anything on the ground. It moved right over us. A few months later I was listening to a weather podcast and they had on one of the Wichita mets and he estimated that it was no more than 200 feet up and if it had touched down would probably have been like the ones in OKC that week.

Windy in Oahu today per golf TV.

If it wasn't tax season crunch time I'd tell Pants to head up the road a few miles and catch the LPGA event.

You clearly don't remember seeing Brent Curvery tearing down the field for a touchdown in that Colorado game.

We were at the game - but we got there late because PapaLew was picking up a donation for our community Thanksgiving dinner. He actually saw the tornado (he was at the West Ames HyVee) but I was on campus and missed it. When we got to Jack Trice, people were filing back into the stadium. We heard all about the excitement from everyone around us though. :)
